Abstract:

Preserving the age old tradition of clay pottery by the Tyrshang Lurshai Cooperative Society, West Jaintia Hills district of Meghalaya. The members of the society have been able to uphold their practices that were inherited from their elders, besides they have further upgraded their skills through training, handholding acquired from various departments and agencies. The products from this society are being sold in several national and international markets.
