Uday Mandrekar, a boatman, is now known as the Birdman of Chorão Island of Goa, for his in-depth knowledge of local avian life and his undying zeal to clean and protect the mangroves. TERI and the U.S. Consulate General Mumbai have come together to gather stories of unsung Green Heroes from India's western region.
